The Koh Tao Royal Resort has beautiful bungalows situated away from the busier parts of the island, and the snorkeling opportunities right at the beach are absolutely stunning. The owners, Steve and Pauline, were very accommodating during my stay. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes around, and the bungalow I stayed in could have used better lighting and more power outlets to feel more comfortable.

This resort is a hidden gem tucked away in nature, providing a tranquil setting with comfortable accommodations and delightful staff. The bungalows are unique and well-maintained, but the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms and minimal amenities might be a drawback for some. However, the beachfront location and beautiful surroundings more than make up for it.
